At Chiawana High School, we take immense pride in our student athletes and
their commitment to excellence both on and off the field. The Chiawana High
School Athletic Booster Club is a passionate community of individuals dedicated
to promoting and supporting our Riverhawks athletes and programs. Through
various initiatives, we strive to enhance the athletic experience and create a
dynamic environment that fosters success.

MEETINGS
We hold monthly meetings where we make decisions about how funds will be
allocated and address any requests that are received. The meetings are typically held at
6:00 pm in the CHS Student Activities and Athletics Center on the second Monday
of each month. Meetings are open and anyone is welcome to attend.

OUR CONTRIBUTIONS
As advocates for student athletes, the Chiawana High School Athletic Booster Club
plays a pivotal role in our school community by providing:
- Monetary Assistance:We offer essential financial support to athletic
teams.
● Scholarships for Athletes: We recognize and celebrate the dedication and
achievements of our athletes by awarding scholarships that support their
educational journey.
● Concessions at Home Sporting Events: Our dedicated volunteers operate
concessions during most home sporting events, offering a variety of
refreshments and snacks for fans to enjoy.
● Volunteer Coordination: We work tirelessly to ensure that our concessions
run smoothly by coordinating volunteers who lend their time and expertise.
● Riverhawk Merchandise: Show your Riverhawk pride by purchasing
exclusive merchandise, available through the booster club.

The Chiawana High School Athletic Booster Club welcomes all who share a
passion for supporting our Riverhawks athletes. Whether you are a parent,
student, staff member, alumni, neighbor, local business, or community member,
your participation is invaluable.

CONCESSIONS
We are an all-volunteer organization and our primary source of funds comes from
concessions and merchandise sales at CHS athletic events. We would LOVE your
help!
Benefits for Volunteers
Your team or club will receive money for each game you work concessions.
If you cannot make your chosen date you MUST cancel and contact Chiawana
Boosters 10 days in advance by emailing chiawanaboosterclub@gmail.com.
Slots can be shared between girls and boys teams of the same sport.
SCHOLARSHIPS
Exciting opportunities await for graduating senior athletes at Chiawana High School!
Scholarship Information: (Links to scholarship information, scholarship application and scholarship application form can be found below under Application Requirements)
Our scholarships aim to recognize and support outstanding student athletes who have demonstrated excellence both on and off the field. Here’s a glimpse of what’s available:
- Chiawana Athletic Booster Club Scholarships:
- Awarded to a minimum of two male and two female athletes
- Each scholarship valued at $1,000
- Nathan McBride Track Scholarship (McBride Family):
- One scholarship awarded to a graduating track athlete
- Valued at $2,500

Eligibility: To be eligible, students must:
- Be graduating seniors from Chiawana High School in 2025
- Have participated in organized, inter-school athletics for at least two years
- Be a participating athlete during their senior year
- Have been accepted or have a pending application to a recognized institution of higher learning
- Robert H. Booth Memorial Scholarship

Application Requirements
- Review the Scholarship Information Sheet (download file to your own device)
- Complete Scholarship Application (download file to your own device create PDF packet for submission)
- Compose an essay of at least 400-words on “What has being part of a Chiawana Athletics team meant to you?”
- Submit necessary documents including Letters of Recommendation, High School Transcript, and proof of college acceptance.
- Submit application by 11:59 pm on Thursday May 15, 2025, through the Scholarship Application Submission Form
Award Notification: Winners will be notified by the first week of June via email and awards will be presented at the Senior Fest Assembly.
